American Idol Announces 2010 Tour Dates for Top 10 Season 9
American Idol is carrying on the tradition of mapping out a massive tour for the Top 10 participants. This year, the traveling show will begin on July 1 at Palace of Auburn Hill in Auburn Hills, Michigan and finish on September 14 at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The gig will feature Top 10 season 9; Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban. They will perform in a group as well as sing in some solo sets, reprising this season's most beloved tunes.
"We are all looking forward to this year's American Idol Live! Tour. This is always one of the highlights of the year," creator and executive producer of 'American Idol' Simon Fuller said. "Each of the Idols have the chance to meet the people that voted for them and perform at incredible venues all over America, another special moment in their developing careers." American Idol 2010: Season 9 Live Tour Dates Announced
The ninth season of American Idol has not even come to a close yet, but it appears that the dates for the season 9 “American Idol Live Tour” have already been announced. This will give fans a chance to see all their favorites perform again, in a town close to them.
According to a recent article at buddytv.com, the concerts kick off on July 1st at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. There will be a total of 49 concerts, and the very last one will be taking place at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Most tickets will be going on sale on May 15th. The “American Idol Live Tour” will also visit places such as the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on July 11th, the Jiffy Lube Live in Washington D.C. on July 23rd and the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH on September 11th. ... Source ...
